What is Our vision for the future?

Our vision at MKCC is:

"Bringing people to Jesus, equipping them to be fully devoted followers of Christ."

In doing this we want to reach out to 10,000’s of people in our local community in relevant, caring, creative and practical ways sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

We want to welcome 1000’s of partners into the fellowship of our church family.

We want to develop people to spiritual maturity through Bible studies, small groups, seminars and a Bible school.

We want to equip every believer for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts and talents God gave them.

We want to empower and send our partners into their daily work with a sense of mission. We want to send out 100’s of partners into the world on short-term mission projects. We want to make a significant impact spiritually, emotionally, physically and educationally in our world to the glory of God.

To assist this vision we are fully developing our present site with simple facilities enabling us to take the next step on our journey of building the church.

To date we have:

Completed the Children Centre: Containing Fusion, Day Nursery, Kidz Church and Dream team activities.

Refurbished our existing hall to provide a multi purpose space for various community activities.

Due for completion in the second half of 2010:

· A contemporary auditorium to seat 650
· A Community Coffee Shop & large foyer area.

We want the campus to be a hospitable and friendly place, family orientated for our children, young adults and seniors alike. Along with a comfortable and classy auditorium, it should have meeting rooms, areas where people can relax, talk and enjoy refreshments. It should be open, inviting and valued by it’s local community.
