Time to Build an Overview

Time to Build will enable us to take the next step towards our Church's Vision.

Our Church has already seen God's provision in the 2 building phases already completed.

• Phase 1- Day Nursery & Kidz Church COMPLETED
• Phase 2- Accommodation Unit Refurb COMPLETED
• Phase 3- New Auditorium, Foyer & Coffee Shop. TARGET DATE FOR COMPLETION 30TH AUG 2010
• Phase 4 - Offices, Community Rooms & hall refurb.

As our church has grown and developed we have seen our current facilities take more and more strain. It is now "Time to Build" to assist us to our vision for the future.

We want to fully develop the present site with simple facilities enabling us to take the next step towards fulfilling this vision. The campus must be a hospitable and friendly place, family orientated for our children, young adults and seniors alike. Along with a comfortable and classy auditorium, it should have meeting rooms, areas where people can relax, talk and enjoy refreshments. It should be open, inviting and valued by it’s local community.

We have built place for the next generation.
We are proud of our various activities for children & young people here at MKCC. These include a Day Nursery, Parents & Toddlers, Community Club and of course Kidz Church and youth. However, as these activities have grown, restriction on space has meant lots of moving around and sharing of rooms has taken place. Some of our Sunday activities for children and our young people took place in a porta cabin!

So we put them first and have completed our Day Nursery & Kidz Church first. We wanted to create a place that our children and young people can call home. A place where they will meet, worship God, influence their friends and discover the plans God has for their lives. We want to give the next generation a place that will be a catalyst for them maturing into Christ and entering into their inheritance. This completed in 2009.

It is Time to Build a space to welcome our community.
The next phase of our development will provide a modern auditorium that will seat 650 guests comfortably. This will enable us to welcome up to 1300 adults to 2 Sunday Services. We will also create a large Coffee Shop and circulation area to cater for our Sunday crowds and create a welcoming environment for visitors to our various mid week ministries and community activities. Much needed extra parking will also be created. The building is well on track and due to complete 30th August 2010.

It is Time to Build a ministry centre to touch the world.
Our goal is to welcome 1000's of partners into our church family, develop them to spiritual maturity, equip them for a significant ministry and empower them to live with a sense of mission in the world. We require a base to assist us in reaching our community, helping the needy, discipling christians and reaching out to the nations of the world.

Buildings will help facilitate this misssion. We will create office space, meeting & training rooms, storage space, I T Rooms and counselling rooms to help us fulfill our vision.
