Here at MKCC we firmly believe that church should be a fun, welcoming place to go to. We are doing our best to make our church a place where you can relax in an enjoyable atmosphere, experience lively music, hear encouraging messages and meet friendly people.
Whether is it your very first time in church or you have been to other churches many times before, we are sure that you will have many questions. We trust that the information below will answer many of these questions.
From the moment you arrive at our site a friendly face in our car park will greet you. Our attendants will help you park your car up quickly and safely. We have 3 services for you to choose from 8.30 am, 10.15 am & 12 noon. At each service we offer a park and ride facility from Milton Keynes College car park, which is accross Chaffron Way the H7 opposite the Christian Centre.
We are more concerned about meeting people’s needs than what they wear. We want you to wear what YOU feel comfortable in. That can be jeans and t-shirt or a suit and tie - it really does not matter to us. We are also very proud that our church is truly multi-cultural and we are happy that the variety in dress reflects this diversity as well.
We
know that as a parent the safety and happiness of your children is vitally
important to you. We have invested a lot to ensure that we make this happen.
All our children’s workers and volunteers are required to have a CRB
check and adhere to our Child Protection policy. The safety of your children
is our primary aim. Of course we also know that what is important to your
child is that they have a FUN place to learn. Our goal is to make church the
most exciting fun place they attend.
Our Children’s Ministry is named DreamTeam and the programme runs during all our Sunday services. Our Little Stars (2s), Little League (3 – Reception) and Champions League, school years 1 – 7, takes place during the whole service. Our attendants in the car park will direct you to our special DreamTeam entrance.
You
will find our music and singing lively and contemporary. We normally have
a full band and a great choir. We put all the words for the songs we sing
up on our video screen, so even if you are new to church you, will be able
to follow along and before long joining in we are sure.
During the service we will provide an opportunity for those who are part of the MKCC family to give an offering. If you are visiting us please do not feel any obligation to give. Instead of asking you to give, we really want to give you something.
You will enjoy practical messages that you will be able to apply to your everyday life. You will be able to follow the preaching with the aid of our video screen that will highlight the major points and allow you to read the key Bible verses. Whichever service you attend we want you to be able to connect easily with the hope and help that God can give us.
It
may have been a long time since you went to church or maybe you have never
visited a church, well we would love to welcome you to our church. We trust
that we have given you a little insight to our church and would love for you
to join us and find out some more.
God says in the Bible “I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”
